About the Teacher
Autumn Gregory is an English teacher in her sixth year of teaching. She finished her undergraduate degree in English with teacher certification at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Immediately after, she moved to Maine to begin teaching. There she taught three years of seventh grade English as well as worked with a behavioral day-treatment facility alongside Special Education teachers. She completed her masters degree in Education with a focus in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment in 2016 and moved back to Virginia. In 2016, she completed one final year teaching seventh grade in Norfolk. In 2017, she began teaching ninth and tenth grade at Kecoughtan High School in Hampton and will be continuing this journey this year teaching ninth grade English, Yearbook, and Journalism. She recently completed her certification to teach Advanced Placement Literature and Composition and will be starting her second masters degree this fall in English. She enjoys traveling, reading, and walking her dogs. Chocolate and coffee are two of her favorite things!
